Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

if a tree is on both owners property line, one more so than the other, and the tree to creating damage to both homes, can you pls advise if both home owners are equally responsible or is it based upon the propoirtion that the tree is shared (1/3 to 2/3 or some other calculation). thanks

Each person would call their own homeowners insurance and they'll sort it out (likely as 50-50).
