writ of posseson

I have a loan on a piece of equipment that has been called due. the creditor has has has a writ of posseson issued. I have a real estate closing in 30 days that will allow me to pay the note. what legal means do I have to stop of hold the writ for 30 days? Is there something I can filr to ask the judge to grant me 30 days to pay the note?
