Legal Question in Health Care Law in Georgia

When I went to my doctor's office to make an appointment for my annual

physical I was told that I had been dismissed as a patient, and then told

I was dismissed from the practice that included two other doctors. I was

surprised because I had never received any correspondence from the office

informing me of this dismissal. In May 2009 I filed a complaint with the

practice manager in reference to a visit I had accompanied my mother on.

The appointment with the doctor, who is also my doctor, had resulted in

verbal and mental abuse toward my 77 year old mother from the doctor.

There was no confrontation whatsoever with the doctor at the time because

i had to leave with my mother in tears. Later I spoke with the practice manager

and followed exact procedure to file a complaint about the visit with the doctor.

Do I have any legal recourse?
