Legal Question in Health Care Law in Georgia
Emergency Care
I was just wondering if there was anything that could be done about what happened to me last yr. My water broke at 17 weeks and when I went to the emergency room they didnt see me til 5 hrs later...even when I told them what happened how far along I was and that I felt intense pressure and pain. it was only until my boyfriend urgently pressured them that they finally saw me and by then it was too late because they had let me sit in the emergency room so long, infection set in and I went into labor and lost my twins. I felt like they did nothing to help me and if they had did their job earlier then something could have be done.

Re: Emergency Care
Your issue is far, far beyond this forum. You need to see a qualified medical malpractice lawyer (ie, generally not the lawyers on the afternoon and late night commercials) immediately.
