What law is on the books in the state of Geogia to protect patient medical records? What is the law in Georgia to protect patients medical records from being disclosed with out there permission? Thanks.

It is a federal law called the Health Insurance Portability and Account Ability Act. It allows for the disclosure of health care information under limited circumstances. Do a google search and you will find all you need to know about it.
