If a physician dies and leaves his estate to his son, who is not a physician, how can I get my medical records transferred to my current physician so he can give them to me?

If the physician was part of a larger practice group of other doctors, then you can call the practice group office and ask for your records to be transferred. To comply with federal privacy laws, they will likely require that you fill out some paperwork before they transfer your medical records.
Best of luck.*****The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.******
