Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia
appealing an N-400
I was denied naturalization 2 weeks ago because of a felony conviction 25 yrs. ago. INS says I am ''not of good moral character'' (mortal terpitude) issue. It was for this same reason I was ititially denied permenent resident visa, 11yrs. ago I appealed that and won the appeal. I have a lawful permenant residenct visa for the past 10 yrs. Since this issue has been dealt with at the time of the permenant res. visa issuance, is this a sound basis( that would stand up in court) for INS denying my N-400 application?
