Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

I applied for H1B visa in March 09, but the employer refused job, and i had already paid the immigration lawyer money for H1B. The lawyer is refusing to give back the money 2000$ inspite of he has not filed the case. What should i do?

You haven't told us what your written fee agreement provides or what work he did. Depending on the answer to what you did not tell us, he may or may not owe you anything, or you may owe him money. If you are sure he owes you money, contact the state bar.
