i have a temporary green card through marriage.If i get divorce,what legal action do i take to still get a permanent green card.

To get a permanent green card, you will have to prove that the marriage was entered into in good faith and it just did not work out. Additionally, you will have to prove that your marriage was bona fide. I do not have enough information to evaluate your case, but if your spouse has been abusive, you may be eligible for VAWA benefits.
