Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia
Engineering Visa
I am in some what of a gray area regarding my nephew. He is located in India at the moment and wishes to work in the United States. He is an electrical engineer and has work experience in India. I, being his aunt, want a good career for him. How do I go about bringing him to the United States and finding a visa for him to work.

Re: Engineering Visa
You didn't say whether you are a U.S. citizen or not. In any case, you cannot sponsor your nephew. Second, his best bet would be to try to find and employer in the U.S. who would be willing to hire him either under an H1B or labor certification. The unfortunate point is that India is very backlogged and it will take years for him to enter the U.S. There is nothing that you can do as his aunt. Good luck. I remain,
