Expired Green Card
My green card expired 2 months ago, can i apply for citizenship without renewing it?

Generally speaking, you must be a compliant Legal Permanent Resident in order to apply for citizenship. To be eligible for citizenship, you must not have broken any immigration laws. Violations of the Immigration Laws, even slight ones like this, are a big problem in today's environment.
