Fiance Visa Horror Stories??? Help!!!
I am a US citizen and my fiance is a Norwegian citizen. We would like to get married here in Georgia this coming summer. I know that it is safest to get a K-1 Visa, for this purpose, and I have ordered a couple of books and a even kit to help get me started. I am quickly becoming rather intimated though and am now scared that this will not go smoothly. Are the horror stories I've heard true or mostly exagerrated? Is it really possible to file for the petition and such on my own? I can't afford attorney's fees, so this is pretty much my only option. Any advice? Thank you very much!

If your fiance is already here in the U.S., you do not pursue a Fiance Visa. If she isn't here, you do, and Fiance Visas are not easy to obtain. There is a lot to deal with.
If I were you, I would dig deep and pay for an attorney. It's a cost you will only have to experience once. If you mess it up, it can cost you even more money and plenty of anguish.

If your fiancee is already in the US, there is no need to do a fiancee visa. There are easier options and although an attorney is not cheap, at least a consultation will get you on the right path. And being separated from your loved-one is somehting that a good immigration attorney can avoid. Phone for a free telephone consultation. Although our office is in Pensacola, FL, we have plans to expand to Dalton/Blueridge, GA. Richard Alvoid (850) 434-5524
