Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia
''illegal employment-taxes-removal''
Peruvian wife is in Removal Proceedings after being picked up by INS while on Greyhound Bus in the process of moving to Georgia to get married to me. She has been bonded out....we got married 2 days after her release and are now living together in Atlanta.....have an initial Master Calender Court Hearing June 10th on the Removal Proceedings. Fortunately have our marriage in ''good faith'' fairly well documented.....since we got married ''after''
her being picked up by INS. She is in illegal status having been ''legally'' admited to the US on a Visitor Visa , which expired years ago.....she has been in the US since 1998.
QUESTION:
She never paid taxes and was illegally employed being paid cash all of those years. (great reason for automatic REMOVAL :-(
If we just say that she NEVER worked during her stay here....... is there a ''POSSIBILITY'' that INS/Court really investigate to the point of obtaining Bank records..... Credit Report, etc..... which would show that she HAS been working and HAS been receiving income ?????????

Re: ''illegal employment-taxes-removal''
(1) misrepresenting material facts (i.e. lying about legally relevant facts, such as whether she has worked without authorization) would be about the most foolish thing she could do right now;
(2) you need to consult with an experienced immigration attorney well before the Master hearing.
