Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia
Immigration Status and Marriage to US Citizen
I am an F1 student working towards a PhD, I have approx 2 years of school left. I am marrying my fiance in Sept '08. The plan is to stay in the US. How will this effect my status, what do I need to do and/or be concerned about during this process.

You can apply for your adjustment of status to permanent residence as a F-1 without problems.
