Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia
I'm a legal alien under indefinite asylum from Indonesia. Been here since November 2001. I don't have a greencard yet, cause I was told since my asylum is indefinite I wasn't really gonna need it. But planning to apply for one real soon. But here's my problem, for some reason all my documents only have my first and middle name (which is my 'legal' last name here in the US). I am pregnant and not together with the baby's father and would love for my baby to carry my real last name, which is printed on my translated birth certificate. What are the steps I need to take to change my name from my First and Middle, to First-Middle-and my real last name?
