If I marry my Mexican Boyfriend, can he get his visa and citizenship?

my boyfriend is 20 and i am 19. he has been in the US for 4 yrs. if we got married and stayed here together,can he become a legal citizen? how long will it take? can he fly back into the country after visiting his family in mexico like a normal person? ??

If you are a US citizen, and your boyfriend is here legally, then you can petition for him to become a permanent resident. It can be done in 1 year.

If he is here illegally, then you can still file for his permanent residency, but the process is more complicated and takes more time. Be sure to consult an immigration attorney during the process.
