Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia
I am a permanent resident since july of 2010. I want to travel to my country in december for 6 months.
I am wondering how long I can be outside the country and if is gonna be a problem with my status ?
thank you.

Generally if you stay outside of the country for more than 1 year you could be putting your status as a Legal Permanent Residence in jeopardy. You can, however, travel back and forth freely, as long as you maintain your primary residence in the U.S.
