Legal Question in Insurance Law in Georgia
I have a bonded and insured business who is building a shed in my backyard. The wind blew a tree down and a branch struck one of the employees. The employee went to a doctor and was badly bruised and had a sprained pinky finger. The business owner said for us not to worry about it, that his insurance would cover it. Can the employee or business or his insurance company come back in the future and sue me? Don in Peachtree City, Georgia

The employee theoretically could but not unless he can show that you were negligent in some way that caused his injury. It doesn't sound like there is any liability on your part because you didn't do anything negligent that caused his injury.
