Legal Question in Insurance Law in Georgia
My child was seen at a physician's office. My ex-husband is required by court order to carry health insurance coverage on him. I also carry coverage on my son through my employer. The physician's office is telling me that my coverage is primary and dad's is secondary, because of The Birthday Rule. Is this right?

You were told how the physician views it, and that is their answer. You can google "birthday rule." Otherwise, we don't have your policy, court documents, birthdays, or other information to tell you what is right or wrong.
The answer to which policy is primary and which is secondary is contained in each of your insurance policy documents, which you should read. The answer will be there. Since we don't have those documents, we can't tell you what they say.
Go to "insure.com." That site explains it in detail.
