Legal Question in Insurance Law in Georgia
house painters
What form would I use to protect me against any suits or any type claims when I get my house painted? I am hiring a small contractor who has a crew of guys that work for him to paint my house. He does not have an insurance form for his business. I want him to sign something so he or any of his part time crew won't come after me if any type accident occurs while they are painting my house.
Thanks Much,

Re: house painters
You would need them to sign a service contract with language disclaiming your liability. I would recommend retaining local counsel to assist you due to the complex nature of disclaimer provisions and their enforceability.
