Legal Question in Insurance Law in Georgia
I just recently found out that my fiance had his insurance card stolen and bills started coming in from his company that a person that he used to know was making claims on his policy. After numerous calls to the insurance company they now state that they have proof from Rockdale County Ga that he was married to her. He tells me that he was never married to her, so we assume that she has also faked that document. This is a nightmare what do we do? This person has been locked up for fraud before and we are real concerned.

Hire a lawyer in case you need to file a civil suit to clear your credit history related to any medical debt. Without suit, you may be at the mercy of the DA's office to convict this woman for fraud before you get any meaningful change to your circumstances.
Best of luck,
First of all, do your homework. Check on your own to see if he actually is married. Hopefully that's not true, but you need to be sure.
If he is not married, your big concern should be his credit. You will find a lot of useful information on steps to take to protect and fix resulting credit problems from identity theft on www.ftc.gov and also by a search on www.clarkhoward.com .
