Legal Question in Insurance Law in Georgia
my son had an accident on his motorcycle causing $5100 damage to the bike.His insurance co. says he is not elligable for depreciated credit as he would be on a car.He has full coverage ins.on the bike.Is he in fact due a check for the depreciated value of the bike?He is ok by the way.Hit a deer.He will have to disclose the accident to any potential buyer.

It is my opinion that a motorcycle is not different than an automobile for purposes of depreciation following a wreck. I am unaware of a case that says so, however. Please contact me by telephone for a free consultation about this. I may be able to assist you with further information.
