Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Georgia

My brother is gay and posted pictures of a personal nature on a gay website. Someone has since uploaded them to YouTube. Is this illegal (the cops said there is NOTHING they can do) and if so how can I go after them?

It depends on whether your brother has ownership rights to the pictures and, thus, the right to preclude their use. The fact that he is gay and the pictures are of a personal nature is pretty much irrelevant.
