Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Georgia
I am interested in making and selling some CDs for charity. I play flute, and would be the soloist on these CDs. However, I would need to use a recorded accompaniment CD which was previously purchased. Since the CD I am using for accompaniment is under a copyright, is it legal to sell a CD where I am playing with it?

Of course it is not legal to copy and sell someone else's work. As a musician, you should already know that lawsuits are filed when even a few notes are taken from someone else's work.
