Legal Question in Intellectual Property in Georgia
usage of catalogs in graphic design portfolio
I work in advertising for a large
retailer that is closing its regional
office here. Since we are all looking
for jobs, we'd like to use copies of
catalogs we've created. In the past,
this was done by creating a physical
portfolio with copies, but with the
popularity of the internet, it's easier
to post portfolios online. Is this legal?

I would need to see your employment agreement and learn more about your former employer.
You may be able to accomplish what you wish to do, but better safe than sued.
Call or email for assistance.
