The way you wrote the post it sounds like you want to use someone else's work, which you cannot do.

As an extension to Mr. Ashman's response, it is possible to use another person's work if you first obtain permission to do so and then provide proper attribution in your publication.

Depending on the type of information you indent to include and the type of publication, it is even possible that prior permission need not be obtained, if your use falls within the "fair use" doctrine.

As this is a complicated area of the law, it is advisable for you to consult with an experienced intellectual property attorney to obtain more specific information relevant to your particular situation.
