paying child support in germany

Am I liable ?I just received a legal document written in German telling me I need to pay child support. I had a DNA test done in 2000 and as far as what I was told it came back inconclusive. Now 8 years later I get this letter saying I owe child support dating back to 98

A German child support order would be enforceable in the US, so you should get German counsel to advise you and try to contest it if it is appropriate to do so.
