Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Georgia
can i leave home at age 17 and will be 18 in august. i am just trying to finish school where i started and mom and step dad wont let me and i am tired of dealing with their mental abuse and i am a senior in McGavock high school in tennessee i have someone i can live with there and finish school mom and step dad keep saying no but i have not finished my mid-term exams so i will not get any credit for this year if i do not return and take my exams Mom and step father are drunks and i hate it and i hate living here with them i hate there mental abuse

You cannot leave home at 17. Hang tight until you are 18 in August. Once you are 18, you can do what you want.
