Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Georgia

I have a few small questions actually...I'm 17 (about to be 18 in two months...literally about 60 days from now) and I'm stuck. I've put up with my mother and all her theatrics and drama up until now, but I'm really needing to focus on my college and not to mention I'm a junior olympic shooter, so this time is really crutial for me; I need to focus on my future. My mother hits me sparringly, along with insulting me, calling me worthless, a bitch, and such; all in all it's just a lot to deal with. I will always respect my mother because she gave up alot when she had me at 17 (which she now and then tells me she should have had an abortion...) but I really need to get away from here; I along with a select few of people who know, all strongly feel this way. I want to know if (1) is it legal to leave my house without consent...(2) and if I could stay with one of my close friends...now, we go to different high schools, but if I move in with her ill have to pay out of district fees, so am I (3) allowed to withdraw or even (I guess to put it this way) drop out of my high school and enroll myself into her school? Also, her and her mother are going down to Flordia this weekend for thanksgiving, and I wanted to know if (4) I was allowed to go with them...or would it be concidered "kidnapping" even though I'm doing all of this of my own free will. Please let me know soon, and I also would like to know (because my mother flies off the handle quite often) if and what she can do about this. Thank you.

You can do what you want to do when you are 18 (and that includes providing for yourself). Why risk any trouble for anyone when you can wait two more months?
