Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
Cancel Acceptance of Offer Letter
I recently accepted an offer letter from an employer (a Delaware company) for a position assigned to an office in the state of GA. The offer letter states that employment will be ''at will''. There is no employment contract. Now, I received an offer from a different employer. Can I cancel my acceptance of the original offer letter and accept the new offer? What are the ramnifications?

Re: Cancel Acceptance of Offer Letter
If your employment is at-will, you can quit at anytime. However, there may be some consequences built into the letter if you quit. Have a local attorney review any agreements with your employer and advise you.
