Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
My coworkers and I recently caught our supervisor changing the time we actually clocked out making it appear as though we clocked out around 15 min earlier than we actually did. When we addressed this issue with her she apologized, and corrected the changes she made, and said it wouldn't happed again. But I caught it again this week, I reported it to HR, and they promise they'll include the time I was shorted this week into next weeks check. I suspect that this has been going on for a while and feel robbed. Now it seems like my supervisor is trying to cause problems for me in other ways at work since I was the one who told about this. What can I do?

Wow. That sounds like a major violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and you have good reason to feel robbed. I have a hunch that these are not isolated issues, and you are not the only employee that is being subject to falsified timestamps.
I would encourage you to contact my colleague Tom Plank at 404-680-9866. He is well versed in employment law matters and should be able to assist you.
