Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I need to know

My daughter work for the Boys and Girl Club in GA,she was told to drive a van by the Supervisor.She is not on the insurance coverage.She scratch the van on it side while she ran into a fence where she was making a deliver to another boys and girls club. She was made to pay a 1000 for deductible,is this leagal.

People are generally responsible for their actions and the damage they cause. Often, it is the full amount and not just the deductible. Was your daughter at fault? If so, why would you believe she is NOT responsible for damages that are her fault? What facts would indicate that the employer is responsible for her actions (as between them, not to a third party)? Otherwise, your post has few facts and it is not clear whether or not insurance is involved or how that is relevant.
