Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

docking pay

My starting pay was $15/hr, which was not company policy( $12/hr). this was sept. 2005. now the company wants to decrease my pay to $12 because it was not company policy for me to be started at $15. i was not aware of this and the boss who hired me has been fired since then. Can they decrease my pay because he did not follow policy.
