Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Employee rights during non working hours

Is this legal:Please note a court order has been issued involving ex-employee, X She has been ordered by the court that she cannot contact any employee of X; if she does it will result in a felony charge. Also, note this court order works in reverse--no employee may contact X in any manner or form. If an employee does so, it will result in agency violating the court order.

Attached is statement that each of your employees must sign and return to me. Stating that you are aware of the court order and what the consequence would be if violated.

Re: Employee rights during non working hours

The simple solution -- obey all court orders. You can test their legality by disbeying them and suffering the consequences (usually contempt of court, sometimes jail) but that is usually not a good option.
