Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
Employer recording home phone call
I was recently receiving medical treatments that required I stay at home. I received permission from my manager to work from home and I submitted a doctor's note requesting that that accomodation be made. The manager of HR called me at home ''to see how I was doing''. After I returned to the office I recevied information that when he called me at home he had recorded our conversation and submitted it to the legal department. Can they do this without my knowledge? This has created a hostile work environment for me.

Re: Employer recording home phone call
In Georgia, only one party to a conversation needs to know it is being recorded.
