I work for a Uniform Rental company and I signed an employment agreement saying that I could not go to work with a compeititor for 2 years. Can they restrict me from this in the state of south carolina when I signed it in georgia?

Maybe. You don't provide enough facts to provide possible answers. Where you physically signed the agreement is often no relevant at all. The nature and scope of the business, terms of the contract, and choice of law provisions are important.
