i am in the state of ga and i was a branch manager for a forklift co. they terminated for what they said was a policy violation and they still want me to honnor a no compete contract. they have not provided me with a signe copy of this or even given me any copy of the violation or the proof of it

The termination of an employment agreement does not typically terminate a non-compete. They are not required to provide you with a copy. If you signed it, you can be held to its terms. If not, then they will not bind you.
