Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

i am a flat rate mechanic at a dealership, during inspection on a car few weeks back i had missed several things the car needed but was able to see most. the car came back today and wanted the work done that i recommended its last visit. another tech started the work and realized couple things i missed during the inspection. (we are not paid for inspections). the management now says i have to perform the 10 hours of labor for free on the customers car for the items i missed (leaking valve covers/broken cv boot) are they allowed to do this?

You failed to tell us what exactly the terms of your employment as a "flat rate mechanic" and other policies and requirement of your job, or even if you are an employee (as opposed to contractor). It might be best to answer with this - Many employees often find they are better off spending some extra time fixing their mistakes and making their employer happy, especially if the mistakes cost them a sale or expenses in fixing the car. Otherwise, it is very legal for the employer to terminate the employee and that could be the resolution for an employee who made a mistake and then is unwilling to invest some time making it right.
