Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Hostile work environment

My husband would take off work to stay home if one of our children became ill, I have patients on my schedule so it was more difficult for me. He was Army Reserve and was anctivated and deployed May 2003. My boss was not understanding if I had to leave work to get my kids from school. He said their should be a ''sick'' day care where I could take them. I tried bringing them to work with me and making a place for them in the breakroom- he did not like that. Last winter I had to leave them home alone with the flu. He was very upset with me because I found a temp to work for me. He said I should be a temp because that is the mentality I had. I worked for him for seven years. I developed some health problems(but had not missed work). He wanted a letter from my Dr stating how ill I would become and how much work I would miss. He also said some of the other staff members thought I had lost so much weight because I must be taking drugs. He suggested I do a urinalysis to ''clear my name'' among the staff. We had an extra Hygienist work through the summer who is an older woman with no children. She was only hired to help in the summer and the summer was almost over and school would soon begin. I was forced to quit. Legal? or just an asshole?

Re: Hostile work environment

It depends on the terms of your employment (even though he sounds like an asshole either way).
