Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Independent Contractor Commission

I am a real estate agent and independent contractor with a real estate firm in Atlanta. I am 100% commission and pay only a monthly ''desk rental'' fee plus expenses such as photocopies. There is a disagreement between one of the owners and myself regarding a third party fee (locksmith) for a listing that is not mine. He is attempting to remove the fee without my approval from my next commission check. Is he allowed to remove this money?
