Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

i was injured in a car accident, while leaving my job. i had a doctor's note saying i couldn't lift over 10 lbs. My boss told me not to come back to work until the note no longer applied. I had no income and ended up going back to work before i was completely healed. I am still not completely healed 9 months later. My boss is threatening to fire me although i still complete my work and work overtime what are my rights?

Assuming you are not covered by worker's comp (I'm sure you would have told us, and accidents leaving work would normally not be covered), and unless there are no more important facts we don't know about, your employer may likely be able to terminate you. An employer, with some exceptions, is entitled to an employee who can do the work and employees can be terminated for any or no reason. You may have family medical leave available, but that is without pay.
