Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
Involuntary overtime
I work at a well known nationwide
company and have been scheduled for
mandatory overtime. I am in my 8th
week of working 6 days and I'm burned
out but management says that it's still
needed. Is this legal?

Re: Involuntary overtime
Unfortunately yes.
As long as they are paying you proper overtime pay, then generally the ER has the right to set schedules.
If you are not being paid time and a half, then it would be a violation of the FLSA and actionable and you should consult an attorney like myself.
