Can an employee be terminated from their job if HR finds out they have a resume posted on a job seeking website.

In Georgia, absent a contract that provides otherwise, employment is "at will," meaning you can be fired for any reason, or no reason at all. Exceptions include race, religion.. obviously not applicable here. Of course many employers may want to terminate an employee who apparently wants to leave.
