Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Labor

I was relocated by my company in Sept 2006 from Chicago to Atlanta. I signed a contract for my new assigment at a certain location---within weeks they moved my to a diiferent location--still in the Atlanta area. I also signed a payback agreement stating I would have to payback the relocation expenses if I resigned within year. Is this agreement still valid since I moved to Atlanta under the assumption I would be located at a certain location, and then within weeks of arriving the moved me again?

Re: Labor

It depends on the exact terms of the agreement. It is common for companies to place payback provisions in employment contracts when relocating the employee. However, you need to have a qualified attorney review the entire agreement to properly advise you.
