Lump Sum Distribution
I resigned my last job on Sept 1, 2006. On October 7, 2006 I mailed a letter to my past employer giving my consent to distribute funds from the profit sharing plan in one lump-sum payment according to the summary plan description. How long does this employer have to send me the money? How do I know the correct amount will be sent? I have been on the plan for over 4 years.
