Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
mgt labor issue
labor issue-got hired in and trained as a sales manager. after 8months of bouncing around helping out different stores the company says that the market is bad and they don't have a job lined up for me. I had to take an open position in a store-16k less a year! is this legal?

Re: mgt labor issue
Absent a contract stating otherwise, employers are generally free to terminate employment for any or no reason (with very few exceptions not raised in your post), and employees are generally free to seek other employment. There is no general entitlement to a specific job, or any job at all, against the employer's wishes.
