Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
Was given an offer letter to start on Feb 1st. In Ga. Gave a 2 week notice to my former employee where I had been employed for 4 years. Received a call on Jan.30th that they are closing the office I was given an offer letter for and there fore I would not have a job. I'm a single mom with 2 kids. They recruited me from my job, Is there anything I can do about this?

You can't work if there is no employer. You had the same risk as everyone else who worked there, or anywhere else, whether for 20 years or 1 day. Most everyone who makes the choice to leave one job for another takes a chance. If you had a contract for a specific term you might have a claim for breach of contract but a mere offer will not suffice.
