Pay raises
I work for a major retail outlet that has a company policy of granting performance reviews/pay raises on an annual basis. I have been continualy employed there for 15 months and still ahve not recieved said review. When speaking to my manager they just keep putting me off, but do acnkowledge that I should have had a review by now and that it will be retroactive when it does occur.
For unrelated issues I am about to quit that job and am unsure if that would eliminate all that back pay or if I still could collect it. What about if my review does not occur before my 2 weeks notice expires?

Re: Pay raises
Based on your post, there is no "back pay." From your post only (as we obviously do not have company policies) they have reviews and provide raises, thus indicating it is completely discretionary. It would unlikely that they will offer a retroactive raise for someone who has quit. One other note. Generally, when one "gives notice," whether two weeks or some other term, they are effectively quitting on the spot. Working beyond that is merely a courtesy by one or both of the parties. A person should not "give notice", or quit, unless they are prepared to leave right then.
