Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
paying back money to a drawer in ga
Is it legal to make one employee pay back money to a drawer when there were 3 employees in the drawer? Is it even legal to make them pay it back? Isn't that what companies pay for the insurance for? Can money be paid back to the employee if had to pay before wrongfully?

Re: paying back money to a drawer in ga
Asking "is it legal" based on a vague statement, with virtually no facts, is meaningless. No one knows how money came out of the "drawer" (whatever that is), the relevance of some unknown prior incident, etc. Two points, however, might be relevant. One, insurance certainly does not prevent an employer from recovering money taken from them, and two, if money is missing, employers often terminate everyone who had access.
