Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia
Do I persue a suit against the individual or the company?
I work for a large corporation and over the past two years, in spite of consistently excellent performance reviews, have been grossly mishandled with regard to my compensation. I know that this is due to the director in our HR department who has repeatedly tried to roadblock promotions and increases. I've tried to resolve this through my last two bosses who agree that this is an accurate read on the situation, but no results thus far. I am now contemplating a lawsuit, but do not know if an individual or corporate suit would be appropriate...?

If you pursue a claim for "discrimination" then the individual is not liable, only the corporate entity.
